See the best fighters in the state
compete for amateur boxing’s most coveted title. February 11 and
12, at the Sugaw Creek Recreation Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
$12 for adults, $5 for kids twelve and under. Boxing begins at 7:30
each evening. In addition to top civilian boxers from the state's 18 amateur boxing clubs, the event, sanctioned by United States Amateur Boxing will feature teams from the Camp Lejuene Marine Corps base and the Fort Bragg Army Airborne base. Winners, comprising the North Carolina Golden Gloves Boxing Team, advance to the Southern Golden Gloves Championship, April 13-16 in Knoxville, TN. For more information call 704-372-0140. |
